Bukkad App – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
Bukkad is an online platform that allows users to order food from local restaurants and street food vendors and have it delivered.

2. Definitions

  • “User”: A person who creates an account on the app and places an order.

  • “Restaurant Partner / Vendor”: A food provider listed on the Bukkad platform.

  • “Delivery Partner”: Individuals or services responsible for logistics and delivery.

3. User Eligibility & Registration

  • Only individuals aged 18 years or above can use the app.

  • Users must provide accurate and updated details when creating an account.

4. Service Model

  • Bukkad is only a facilitator; it connects restaurants and delivery partners with users.

  • The restaurant/vendor is responsible for order fulfillment, and the delivery partner is responsible for logistics.

  • The app is not directly liable for food quality, delays, cancellations, incorrect orders, or any damages.

5. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices, taxes, and packaging/delivery charges will be shown clearly at the time of order.

  • Users must make full payment online or through Cash on Delivery (if available).

  • Bukkad reserves the right to change prices at any time.

6. Order Placement & Acceptance

  • An order is placed only when the user completes the payment and the restaurant partner accepts the order.

  • Restaurants/Vendors have the right to accept or reject an order under special circumstances.

7. Delivery Terms

  • Food will be delivered to the address provided by the user.

  • Delivery timelines are indicative and may be delayed due to unforeseen reasons.

  • Users should check the packaging when receiving the order.

8. Cancellations & Refund Policy

  • Users can cancel an order only until the restaurant has not accepted it.

  • Orders may be canceled due to reasons like wrong address, unavailability, or packaging issues.

  • Refunds will be provided as per the company’s policy and may vary on a case-to-case basis.

9. User Responsibilities

  • Users must provide correct information and be available to receive the order.

  • Reselling food purchased via Bukkad is prohibited.

  • Feedback and reviews should be honest and free from abusive or unlawful content.

10. Restaurant Partner & Delivery Obligations

  • Vendors are responsible for product quality, timely preparation, and proper packaging.

  • Restaurants should avoid using single-use plastic packaging and must comply with environmental laws.

11. Liability Limits

  • Bukkad acts only as an intermediary. It is not directly liable for food quality, quantity, allergens, or mishaps.

  • Any order fulfillment or delivery-related issues must first be resolved with the restaurant or delivery partner.

12. Changes to Terms

  • The company may update Terms & Conditions at any time, and the updates will be displayed on the app/website.

  • Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Account Termination

  • Accounts of users, vendors, or delivery partners may be suspended or terminated if they violate the app’s rules.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by Indian law.

  • Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
